CEO and Founder
Brian Place is the Principal, Founder and Chief Cat Herder (CCH) of Interplay. After years of working for other firms, he knew there had to be a better way to manage IT services for medium-sized companies. So in 2001 Brian decided to do it himself and started Interplay.
Brian enjoys working with his clients to create the right Managed IT solutions that keep companies moving forward and take the IT management stress off a company’s plate. Service, reliability and security are the foundation of Interplay and values that Brian has instilled in each employee.
When Brian isn’t busy at work he can be found developing a new cocktail, weightlifting (to work off said cocktails), cooking or traveling. Brian and his husband live in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood along with two cats, who occasionally grace them with their presence. Brian is a ridiculously huge fan of Disney World, EPCOT and all of the ways that Walt Disney made sure everyone who walks into the “Happiest Place on Earth” has the best day ever. He knows all the secrets, best food, and drink spots at each Disney Park in the US.
Service Engineer II
Lesile is a Service Engineer here at Interplay. Lesile graduated from Highline College with her AAS in Digital Forensics & Investigations in 2017 and has been working in the IT field since then. What she enjoys the most about being an engineer at Interplay is being able to help others. She is always willing to go above and beyond to resolve your IT troubles! During the Summer, Lesile enjoys playing outdoor volleyball and long-boarding, but during the cold Washington days, you can find her binge watching Law & Order: SVU or playing TFT (Team Fight Tactics). She is also an avid BTS fan! #btsarmy
Professional Services Lead
Blake Perdue is the Professional Services Lead here at Interplay. He answers your calls and support tickets, and he makes sure your computer and network are running smoothly.
Blake lives in Bremerton and has for most of his life. Before joining Interplay, Blake was providing tech support for friends and family. Blake has been “obsessed” with computers since he got his first PC in the 3rd grade.
When Blake isn’t busy at work he enjoys Tabletop Gaming – feel free to ask him about his D&D campaigns! Blake is also into music production. He creates his own orchestral music using virtual instruments. For now, it’s just for fun and a personal creative outlet.
In 2014 Blake ran his own Convention – GAMCON – the Gaming, Anime and Music convention – in Bremerton with over 600 attendees. The con was a lot of work and a great success, he’s hoping to do another GAMCON in the future!
NOC Lead
Doug Strong is one of Interplay’s fantastic Service Desk Technicians. He comes to us after a 5-year stint as an IT technician at Highline College, where he also obtained an AAS in Network Administration. His favorite part of working in this industry is the opportunity to learn about and work with new and exciting technology.
Originally from Bethesda, Maryland, Doug grew up in Federal Way. In his spare time he enjoys messing around with Virtual Reality and working on German cars. A die-hard Star Wars fan, he has a dog named Chewie, and a second dog named Luna. In addition to his awesome tech skills, Doug also makes a mean mac n’ cheese.
President
Sean is the Operations Manager for Interplay. In Brian’s terms, he’s the Assistant Chief Cat Herder (ACCH). While Sean doesn’t know how to reset your password (and would have forgotten his if it wasn’t for a password manager), he’s actively involved in making sure the needs of Interplay’s clients are always met.
Before joining Interplay, Sean spent a decade honing his managerial skills working for dozens of non-profit organizations on issues ranging from land preservation to financial education. During that time, he organized students, families and community members in Columbus, OH, Los Angeles, and everywhere in-between. Sean believes that all companies and organizations deserve strong IT, that’s why he’s excited to bring Interplay’s expertise to clients that do great things.
But, according to Sean, the greatest thing on this planet is his dachshund named Timmy. Be careful, because he’ll look for any excuse to squeeze his dog into a conversation or to share photos of ‘Tim’ dressed up as a dinosaur. He’s also an avid baseball fan, and an unnecessarily competitive board game enthusiast- he plays to WIN!
Service Manager
Shelley Timmons is the Support Lead here at Interplay. She joined our team shortly after finishing her Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Cybersecurity and Forensics, at Highline College in Des Moines. Her transcripts boasted a nearly perfect G.P.A. and she quickly became our go-to person for all our technical documentation needs. Shelley enjoys working with new technology, creating reports, and helping clients by troubleshooting all sorts of issues.
When Shelley isn’t hard at work, she is spending time with her family in her hometown, Carbonado Washington. Where the heck is that, you ask? Well, it’s a small town near the base of Mt. Rainier, with a population of about 720 people. Shelley and her husband enjoy the quiet life that area provides and it’s a great place for their blended family, one daughter and two sons. Shelley enjoys binge-watching Netflix shows, entertaining friends and family, camping/traveling, having girl-time with her teenage daughter, and hanging out with her very sociable cat, Charlie.

Service Engineer I
Brenden was born in Edmonds, WA. He was first introduced to computers at a very young age. He watched his father build computers and it sparked his excitement for technology. Always looking for a new way to learn things he attended National American University and pursued his bachelor’s in information technology emphasis in application development. It was not until finding Interplay that he found his true calling to support clients in the technology field instead of creating the applications behind the scenes. He is passionate about family, technology, and video games. Having six kids he never has to find a player two because family is all he needs. His aspirations are to further himself in all knowledge revolving Information Technology to better assist all people. He thinks that there is nothing more satisfying than helping people.

John Fusetti is a Service Engineer here at Interplay. John got his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington, Tacoma campus in Information Technology and Systems and has continued his training and growth throughout his career. After spending his pre-college career working in customer service roles, John loves the opportunity to meet and speak with Interplay’s amazing clients across all industries. Eventually, he would like to take the foundation he has built and specialize in cybersecurity.
Growing up in Seattle, John spends his winters in the mountains skiing and summers barbequing for everyone he can. For all of those rainy days where going outside is not an option, he spends his time diving deep into any video game roll playing games that he can get his hands on. An avid fan of all things music, he tries to go to as many concerts as his budget will allow and can almost always be heard singing to himself (albeit, very badly).

The easiest way to tell what a company (or person) is like is to find out who they hang out with. Interplay is proud to have long-term relationships throughout the Seattle community, including the Better Business Bureau of Washington and the Downtown Seattle Association.
However, the tech world, more than anywhere else, is all about what you know, so you can’t simply rely on information about who your IT services provider hangs out with. That’s why you’ll also love the fact that Interplay partners with tech giants Cisco, Datto, HP, Microsoft, and more.
Been taking apart computers since grade school (and, uh, putting them back together again)? Want to work with fun,
geeky coworkers in Seattle? It’s probably time we met.
Jordan Ross is a Service Engineer here at Interplay. He’s advanced in the IT industry due to his genuine love and interest in IT, and his great service to clients. Jordan has held support and help desk positions, a Network Administration role and before joining Interplay he was an Infrastructure Manager. Jordan also tends to geek out on cloud computing and is really into the cloud movement and computer networking (for fun even…).
Jordan is originally from Nebraska and after following his family down to Florida, he grew tired of the sun and warm beaches, and moved to Seattle.
